Arctic Shipping AS is a subsidiary of Arctic Securities AS. The company was established in August 2016 as the Arctic Group's shipbroking division. We are an independent shipbroker with in-depth shipping knowledge, enabling us to serve and optimise our clients’ shipping strategies.
In 2023, Arctic Shipping opened a Tokyo Branch and expanded its presence in Hamburg within the existing Arctic Securities office, enhancing Arctic’s maritime expertise and extending its reach into the Japanese and German shipping markets, as well as other central European countries. These branch offices collaborate closely with the rest of the Arctic Shipping team.
In 2026, Arctic further expanded its international footprint by establishing Arctic Shanghai Co., Ltd., strengthening our presence in Asia and supporting clients across the Chinese and broader Asian shipping markets.
At the same time Arctic also expanded its presence in the Middle East by establishing Arctic MENA FZCO in Dubai, to further support and develop our relationships in this market.

shipbroking market with a key focus on newbuilding and secondhand brokerage within
most asset classes including the tanker, drybulk, container, chemical and gas
segments, in addition to period chartering and project business within these
segments.
In addition to the pure traditional sale and purchase and newbuilding brokerage services, Arctic Shipping AS also offers our clients access to expertise within market analysis as well as corporate and project finance for shipping investments.
