Mads was previously CEO in SEB Enskilda (2000-2007), in addition to being Country Manager for SEB in Norway (2004-2007). Prior to that he worked with Orkla Finans/Enskilda Securities, holding senior positions within equities and corporate finance (1987-2000) and with Den norske Creditbank as a broker (1982-1986).

Hege Marthinussen
Deputy CEO
Hege previously worked at Storebrand Investment Management (1998-2008) with compliance and risk control, product development and as a credit analyst. Prior to this she worked with treasury management. She holds an MSc from the Norwegian School of Economics and Business Administration (NHH) and an MSc in Statistics and Operations Research from Stern School of Business, New York University.

Fridtjof Berents
Deputy CEO
Fridtjof previously worked in the Ministry of Finance (1998-2007), the last years dealing with the investment strategy of the Government Pension Fund in the Asset Management Department. Prior to that he worked with macro economy in the Economic Policy Department and the first years of his career in the Financial Markets Department where he focused on banking and insurance regulation. He holds the degree Cand.
oceon. from the University of Oslo and an MBA in finance from the Norwegian School of Economics and Business Administration (NHH).

Kjetil Bakken
Head of Group Strategy
Kjetil joined Arctic in 2007. He previously worked as Associate Director in UBS Corporate Finance, London, focusing on Nordic financial institutions (2005-2007) and as an Analyst in Corporate Finance with Deutsche Bank in London (2002-2005). He holds an MA in Business & Finance from The University of Edinburgh.

Kristian Pande Horn
Head of Corporate Finance
Kristian has more than ten years experience from various positions, most recently leading Arctics fixed income team. Kristian worked three years in Thommessen before starting in Arctic in 2011. He holds a Master of Law from the University of Oslo.

Bjørn Løvenskiold
Head of Corporate Finance
Bjørn joined Arctic in 2007. He previously worked with SEB Enskilda, holding various positions in Corporate Finance in London and Oslo (1994-2007), having started his career with Ernst & Young in the US (1991-1993). He holds a BSc in Business Administration from Universität Mannheim/the University of Southern California and an MBA from Warwick Business School.

Ivar Larsen
Head of Sales
Ivar previously worked as Associate at Arkwright, Partner and equity research analysts at RS Platou Securities, Head of equities at HQ Norden Fonds, Head of Research at SEB Enskilda and since 2005 as at private investor and strategic consultant. He holds an MSc from the Norwegian School of Management (BI).

Robert Christiansen
Head of Credit Sales
Robert joined Arctic Securities in April 2019. He previously worked as Head of International & Nordic Credit Sales at Nordea Markets. Robert holds a MSc in Finance from BI Norwegian Business School.

Runar Meland
Head of Equity Sales
Runar joined Arctic Securities in 2017. He has experience as a broker from Fokus Fonds (1993-94), Christiania Fonds (1994-96) and Elcon Securities/First Securities/Swedbank (1996-2014). He was co-founder of First Securities in 1999 and Head of Sales for 6 years. Runar was also Head of Sales, Norway in Nordea Markets (2014-17). He has an MBA in Finance from NHH..

Morten Nystrøm
Head of Research
Morten joined Arctic Securities in 2018. Morten previously worked for Nordea (2013-2018), Fearnley Securities (2013-2008) and Kaupthing Bank (2004-2008). He has been in equity research his entire career. He holds an Master in finance from the Norwegian Business School (NHH). .

Anna Hallsten
Branch Manager Arctic Securities Sweden
Anna was previously CEO and co-founder of Nordic Fixed Income AB (2011-2015). She was head of Fixed Income at E. Öhman J:or Fondkommission and has experience from Investment Management (2000-2005) and Corporate Finance (1997-2000). She holds a MS from Stockholm School of Economics.

Kjetil A. Marthinsen
Chief Technology Officer
Kjetil is a University College Graduate in Computer Science from Western Norway University of Applied Sciences, and has been a part of Arctic Securities' Technology department since 2007. Kjetil was appointed Co-Head of IT in 2015, and joined Arctic Securities' management team as Chief Technology Officer in 2018.
