You save. We invest. That easy.
THE PENSION CAPITAL IS YOUR INVESTMENT RESPONSIBILITY
The total pension capital that you will live on when you retire consists of disbursement from the national insurance, earned occupational pension, and other pension saving. Therefore, it is important to know how you place the money that you can influence with your decisions. Individual pension saving (IPS) and “aksjesparekonto” (ASK) are tax efficient alternatives to assist your pension saving.
WE CONSIDER THE NATIONAL INSURANCE AS YOUR LOW-RISK PLACEMENT
You pay 18.1 percent of your income up to 7.1G* to the national insurance for accumulation of your pension capital. The capital is usually placed in conservative assets to secure your retirement. We in Arctic believe this to be your low risk, fixed income placement, in your portfolio for pension capital.
You can check NAV.no/hva_kan_jeg_få_i_pensjon, and estimate what you get at intended retirement age. If you desire higher yearly disbursement, you have to save yourself – and the sooner the better.
ASK, IPS AND OTHER TYPES OF FUNDS ARE YOUR EQUITY INVESTMENTS
We recommend you to investigate the size of your pension capital, how it is placed and see estimates of how much you get in pension. In our opinion, it can be smart to save up to 40 000 NOK every year in IPS.
Your IPS-saving can be invested with a long-term perspective in equities to achieve superior return. Over the long-term, you can expect 7.5 percent return if you invest in the Norwegian stock market according to “Finans Norge”. IPS also gives you an opportunity to control when you start the disbursement of your investments after the age of 62 – customized your plans and wishes for the retirement.
