Arctic recently signed Principles for Responsible Investment as of one out of seven Norwegian Asset Managers. As part of this, Arctic's eight funds are now ethically branded at Skandiabanken.
PRI's encourages investors to use responsible investment to enhance returns and better manage risks. The organization engages with global policy makers and is supported by, but not part of, the United Nations.
Arctic has since its very beginning, been conscious of its role as a global investor. By adhering to, and following the principles of the Norwegian Government Pension Fund, Arctic values that investors no longer only appreciate profitable investments, but are more and more aware of how those investments are made.
Arctic is now among an elite few in Norway that have signed the Principles for Responsible Investment - known as the PRI. Investing along the lines of NBIM, Arctic is thus by Skandiabanken recognized as an asset manager that conducts ethical screening of its funds.
